Your Dock is the group: the neighbors you watch for and who watch for you, the marina you share, and the conversation that goes on between visits. It is the unit everything else in DockNeighbor hangs off.
What a Dock is
People you chose
Not everyone in the marina. You invite your Dock the same way you'd ask someone to grab your lines — because you already trust them. Joining is free, with or without a boat and with or without a single sensor.
It goes both directions
You watch for them; they watch for you. The boats you help look after appear in the same app as your own, with roles each owner sets — full admin, monitor and control, or view-only.
Sharing has edges
Being in someone's Dock does not mean seeing everything. Owners choose what each person gets — the alarms, the position, the ability to actually do something — and can take it back. Your marina password stays yours.
The conversation Live today
The community forum is running now, with single sign-on from your account. It is where the product gets argued about, where installs get shown off, and where the roadmap actually moves — say something matters and it moves up the list.

A Dock sits in a marina
The marina is the other half of this. Facilities that install shared long-range sensors and hubs can cover a whole pier cheaply — and marina staff, mechanics, and management companies can be part of the Docks they already look after, with proper accounts instead of shared passwords.
