One account, every screen

Sign in once and the boat is the same on your phone, your laptop and the web: the live view, the alerts, the history and the people. Readings reach the app through the station and the DockNeighbor cloud, so aboard or away you see the same picture, and nothing depends on your phone being near the boat.

What the cloud holds

• Your vehicles — each boat’s configuration syncs across all your devices; set it up once on your phone and it’s there on your laptop.
• Status and history — the last-known state of every sensor, and history at your plan’s retention. See History & data.
• Sharing — invite others to a vehicle with roles. Dockside shares with 1 co-owner, Weekender with up to 5 crew members and Voyager up to 10. Being invited is always free.
• The plan — a vehicle’s plan sets how many devices it can carry, how fresh the routine readings are, how long history is kept and where alerts can go. Push notifications are on every plan, including Free. See pricing.

Managing the account

Plans and billing live in the web account portal at account.dockneighbor.com; the native apps open it in your browser. Your password, sign-in email, privacy portal and account deletion are under Account Profile in the app.
